Kushboo is one of the versatile actresses in south inida. The only heroine in India who had a temple, built by her fans. She is known for her charm and activeness in various activities, since the beginning of her career. She starred with various renowned actors, such as Rajinikanth, Kamal Hassan, Vijayakanth, Sarath kumar, Chiranjeevi, Vishnuvardhan, Ambareesh, Tiger Prabhakar, Ravichandran, Suresh Gopi, Sathyaraj and Prabhu. She began her career as a child artist with, the Hindi film The Burning Train (1980) in the song “Teri Hai Zameen Tera Aasman”. Between 1980–1985 she performed as a child actor in the Hindi films Naseeb, Laawaris, Kaalia, Dard Ka Rishta, Bemisal. She then debuted with Jackie Shroff in the movie Jaanoo. She also acted with Govinda in Tan Badan. She then moved to South India Movies with her debut movie as Kaliyuga Pandavulu starring Venkatesh. Eventually she got chances in tamil, Kannada and Malayalam too. Most of her movies were with Nagarjuna and Venkatesh. In kannada she acted many films with Ravichandran. Few of her best work are Ranadheera, Anjada Gandu and Yugapurusha. She is married to actor-director Sundar C and has two daughters.
