Plot
The story is about how a blind lift operator and a caretaker of an apartment building goes to great lengths to save the daughter of a retired judge from a convict, whom he imprisoned long back.
Story
A cat and mouse chase, with an execrable motive puts the audience on the edge of the seat. The narrative of this film is simple with an uncanny twist in the end. A retired judge(Krishna Murthy) faces threats from a convict(Vasudevan) whom he imprisoned during his tenure as a judge. Dreading on whats gonna happen to his daughter once the convict kills him, he approaches the only person he entrust the safety of his daughter, his blind caretaker(Jayaram). But when the murder takes place and the blind man is accused for the murder due to circumstancial evidence , he decides to take down the convict. Gifted with astounding senses compensating for his blindness, the blind man goes against all odds to save the daughter of the retired judge and also take down the convict once and for all.

There is a reason why is the most loved actor in the malayalam Film industry and thats because of his sheer dedication towards. Mohanlal once again proved that any role given he can serenely portray it. His expression, dialogue delivery and emotions in every scene is what makes this a perilous enthralling movie.
Samuthirakani(Vasudevan)
Samuthirakani’s acting is another reason why this movie is a must watch. His protean acting and his emotion that accompanies with a traumatic tragedy in the movie shows how well dedicated he is.
The other supporting cast have done a brilliant job in bringing out the essence in the movie.
Music
Apart from the bgm that increases the intense in the movie, the music in this movie was sublime. Ron Ethan Yohann along with the musical band 4 musics have done a good job composing the music.
Cinematography
N. K. Ekhambram has a done a good job in bringing out the emotions of each and every character.
Director
Safe to say that this could be Priyadarshan’s only non-satirical movie. His experience in film making has given us many good films, including this thriller, enthralling family entertaining film “Oppam”.
