Direction:  Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya could be called one of the realistic tales of revenge. It is the remake of the Malayalam movie, Maheshinte Prathikaram. The director Venkatesh Maha did a marvellous job maintaining the originality of the script and adapting it to the nativity. While the majority portions of the first half being filled with comedy, the second half is filled with a beautiful love story and drama
Cinematography: The cinematography was up to the snuff. Cinematographer Appu Prabhakar perfectly captures the rustic setting and beautiful emotions of Araku Valley and its locals.
Editing: The editing is quite good for most of the film. Crispy editing at very few specific points would have enhanced the experience of the audience even better.
Performance:  Satya dev as Uma Maheshwara Rao was his finest performance till date. With the doses of light-hearted comedy that arises from the actions of Suhas and Naresh is noteworthy. Veteran actor Raghavan was impressive with his load of philosophy. Roopa as Jyothi does some excellent performance.
Music: Bijibal’s background score and tracks are spot on and well used, helping the audience transport into the character.
Overall Verdict: Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya is a family entertainer that has feel-good moments and a gripping screenplay.
