Raghava Lawrence is one such choreographer who changed the way audience, view artists. He is one of the few actors whom the audience loved to watch on-screen and off-screen, and always will.

Struggling with a brain tumour, Lawrence gave up on his studies during his childhood. Though he faced many obstacles in early age, he never gave up. With his mother by his side, he persevered life’s toughest complications. Even when he lost hope to live, his mother encouraged and boosted him. When he succeeded in vanquishing his brain tumour, he decided to never step back and worked hard moving forward.

As he struggled with a brain tumour, he worked as a car cleaner for action choreographer and fight master Super Subbarayan. A sudden twist of fate brought him opportunities to lay a pave to success. As he was casually dancing, Super Star Rajinikanth saw him and recognized his talent and helped him to join a Dancers Union. With his innate talent and extraordinary moves, he captured Megastar Chiranjeevi’s eyes. Chiranjeevi offered him a job as a choreographer for more than one movie. From that moment he never stopped impressing the audience with his graceful steps and groovy moves.

Starting his career as a car cleaner, he ended up as an all-rounder. He proved his worth as an actor, director, choreographer and not to forget, as a music composer. Besides having name and fame, and being a celebrity, he is people’s man. He is known not only for his talents but for his big heart too. He is one such celebrity who maintains good rapport and accordance with people. He took active participation in many social service events and conducted few. He aided heart surgeries for kids. He is also a chairman of Lawrence Charitable Trust, a voluntary organization, which reaches out its activities to differently-abled or orphaned kids, helps in uplifting the lives of needy towards self-reliance. As he was subjected to adversities in his childhood and knew the situations, he made sure that the activities conducted by the Trust were useful for elevating the needy to better standards. Besides providing a home for physically challenged, his trust also offered to provide educational help, dance training and medical support. There was a time where Lawrence gifted a house valued Rs. 10 lakh to a man for running free ambulance services. Lawrence saved the lives of 130 children by offering money for curing their diseases.

Adding to his humble personality, he also constructed a temple for his mother. He quoted that the temple he built is not only for his mother but to represent all mothers. He added that his mother is the reason for him being alive even today, after going through many hurdles. He also stated that he searches peace and God in his mother, inspiring the youngsters. With his intrinsic talents and a heart of gold, he not just attracts the audience, but inspires too.
