Some movies touch our hearts, some teach us lessons, some entertain us, but there are some which touch our hearts as well as teaches us life lessons and entertain us. One such movie is Pilla Zamindar. Set in a village backdrop, this movie is also an emotional one.
Let us see some of the strong messages this beautiful movie gave to the audience.

  1. About money: First and the most important message this film gives is that money is not everything. Praveen Jayaramaraju aka PJ begins as an arrogant and spoilt boy, but ends up as a kind and helping person. “Devudu manushulni preminchi, vasthuvulanu vaadukovataniki thayaru chesadu. Kani manam vasthuvulani preminchi manushulni vadukuntunnam” is a one liner which leaves a huge impact on viewers minds. From distributing money and alcohol to win at president elections to sacrificing his entire wealth for Kanna babu’s operation, he taught us that money cannot buy everything.
  2. About friendship: Someone once said that a real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out. And this saying strikes our mind when our Praveen Jayaramaraju puts away everything aside to support Jaatheeyam during his father’s death. While everyone else is fighting about caste and election near the dead body, Praveen takes the initiative to come forward and stand beside his friend. From constantly mocking Jaatheeyam, Kanna Babu and others in the beginning to staying with them in their ebbs and flows, he taught us to be the friend who never expect anything but happiness of out friends.
  3. About honesty: Another one liner like “Dabbu ichi thaagisthe evaraina dhanda vesi danam pedtharu. Kaani ae thandri, vaala kodukuki ninnu aadharsham ga choopincharu. Nijayitheega oka pani chesi choopidham ra. Ekkadaithe thala dhinchukunamo akkade thala ethukunela chedham ra” said by Thagubothu Ramesh really strikes us hard. It explains the importance of honesty and righteousness even though he tried to buy the voters aka students by bribing them he was not even close to winning. But once PJ mended his ways and honestly helped the villagers and students, he not only won as the president but also as a person.
  4. About love: PJ was a person who cared about nothing but his luxury and wealth. He never treated his girlfriend or people around him with love and affection. He was very arrogant with Rajanna and his hostel friends too. But once he realized how mean and rude he was, he began to evolve. From Rajanna to Babai the way he address people changed. From offending Telugu master to “Science kavalante internet lo kooda dhorukuthundhi. Kaani samskaram mee lanti vaare nerpali” he taught us that we need to love people not humiliate them.
  5. About Success and Life: Not to forget the most important and a powerful one liner “Pichoda… Gelupudhi emundhira maha aithe ee prapanchaniki ninnu parichayam chesthundhi. Okkasari odipoyi choodu prapancham ante ento neeku parichayam avthundhi”. Society’s perspective about a winner and about a loser will always be different. A winner sees the life as he wants and the society crawls to him. A person who loses something always live a life of other’s perspective. He tends to disregard his capacity and worth. He faces humiliation and insult. Everyone will be a loser at some point of his lifetime. But it needs strength and courage to conquer his inner self and achieve what he wants. A person who always wins isn’t great, but a person who rises after falling is.
