The story begins with introduction of two villages lead by Basi reddy and Narappa reddy and how they fought over the years for petty things happening in their villages. Because of an anecdote in Basi Reddy’s past, Aidu Rupayala Factionism begins in that region. Basi Reddy kills a guy from Kommaddi, for the sake of 5 rupees and hence 5 rupees factionism begins. The fire among them doesn’t go away over the years and Basi Reddy kills Narappa Reddy as part of their revenge. This happens when Veera Raghava Reddy s/o Narappa Reddy comes to village. As Veera Raghava is a person who believes in diplomacy and peace, he thinks taking revenge for his father’s death is foolish and goes to Hyderabad as part of an escape plan. There he ends up at Aravinda’s place. Her thought process, thesis and ideology attract him and learns lot more about factionalism. Eventually, her project deadline comes closer and Veera Raghava decides to take her to his village, which ends up in a revenge turmoil. Veera Raghava calls Basi Reddy’s son for a compromise and explains him how everything they are doing is foolish. Knowing this Basi Reddy kills his own son and threatens Veera Raghava to kill but vice versa happens.

The whole story seems to be a very niche faction movie story like in early 2000s. But the best thing about this movie is not about highlighting the factionism but about supporting and encouraging women to take up leadership roles in a larger scale. Veera Raghava at the end supports Basi Reddy’s wife to contest in elections saying how women are sensible enough to rule people. He tells that, women may be hurt more than men, emotionally, but they never try to degrade, pull down or either curse their enemy to have a worst time in their life. This isn’t the practicality, but the empathy that comes to women over the time.

The movie tries to highlight the subtle confrontations with pinching dialogues. The intro scene at garage is the one, that gives us an idea about Aravinda’s ideology. After goons chase her, she runs into a garage where Veera Raghava helps her. After that she says “Vadidhi iyna rojuna evadu iyna kottagaladu, asala godava rakunda aputadu chudu, vaadu goppodu”. Pulling a fight is the easiest things, but putting a full stop takes double the time and triple the efforts, the fight takes. Director throws us light that her ideology and his vision match at some point. The other scene, where his Jeji, tells him “30 yella Nadu mee thatha katthi pattinadu antey, adi avasaram, ade katthi mee nayana  ettinadu antey Adi vaarasatvam, ade katthi nu doosinavante adi  lakshanam, aa katthi nee biddanatiki lopam aitunda” tells us that her fear and concern over never ending revenge killings being a huge mistake of their lives. The director also tried to show the influence of women in Veera Raghva’s life. He tries to think in the angle everyone misses out most of the times. How all this chaos affects the women of their lives. He then sings out the song Peniviti which his mother used to think when she used to be worried about her husband. If this isn’t the most amazing thing in a faction movie, then I don’t know what is. The final scene, where the party members think he is a torch bearer is another one, which makes us rethink about few small decisions we get scared to take. Sometimes, out of the social norms in society, we try to take a path that is most used, but this movie tells us that the path we seek, may not always be the known one.

Although, the movie is about bringing peace into the most chaotic situation, but the concept says that it isn’t easy for men alone to bring peace in. The director tries to convey that women play a major role in building leadership qualities in her kids, can manage numerous things all at once with ease, can take care of emotional needs too. So, why not give the leadership role to women, who can do so many things at once, better than men. The concept maybe old, but the way of expressing it through a movie filled with factionalism is marvellous. The movie wanted to show that the struggle women have throughout their life, especially in the most dreadful situations, makes them stronger enough to conquer anything in world.
