“PIVOT”…. “PIVOT”…”PIVOT!!!!”, “We Were on a Break”, “UNAGI!!!!”. There are many scenes that I could reminisce from “Friends”, and if someone asks who comes in your mind when you hear those dialogues mentioned above I would hastily say “Ross Geller”. You showed me the actual meaning of what a true and genuine love is, albeit to the failed marriages you have gone through, deep down you always had feelings for Rachel. I mean it was clearly evident when you said
“I TAKE THEE RACHEL” instead of saying Emily’s name. From a loving brother to Monica by accepting Chandler to be her boyfriend to being a loving and caring friend to Chandler by giving him tips on how to procure space on the bed from his clingy girlfriend Monica, you have giving me countless memories and lessons to learn. There are many things that can be told about your presence in Friends and how you influenced many of us in looking life in a normal perspective, but truth be told there are many such people like me who adore you and your humorous role in FRIENDS.
Even after 16 years since the show aired its last episode, people still look upon Friends and adore each and every character and I for one will keep looking up to the palaeontologist turned professor who first taught me the word “Pivot”
