There is a famous saying that “Being in love makes people go crazy”. I’m damn sure that people in love have blithesome memories together. One feels cosy with their partner’s tranquil gazes, they feel quite at ease around them by abundantly cherishing them and finally being sure that he/she is the one, right? I wonder if that love is eternal? Will it be the same forever? My answer is, as time crawls love evolves into a responsibility where having each other’s back is a form of love then into a partnership in the fullness of time where you two together are considered as one which is cemented by love.

ORANGE, directed by Bhaskar is one such films which was not well-received by the audience at its time, but later the audience started to accept and love this film and coined it as a timeless classic for its mellifluous music and new-gen storyline. This film has shown different characters having a different approach towards love, but mostly about the hero’s perspective.

We see Ram Charan as Ram, a young, veracious guy who has a totally different outlook towards life and believes that true love lasts only for a few days. Because of this reason, Ram has nine successfully failed relationships and calls himself the “world’s greatest lover”. He meets the young and enthusiastic Jaanu (Genelia D’Souza) and eventually, they fall in love. Jaanu asks him to promise that he will love her forever, but Ram explains it to her nonchalantly that he can’t love her forever which leads to a little wrangle over their ideologies.

As an audience, at one point we get connected to Ram’s point-of-view about love and relationships because the writing of Ram’s character is strong enough to pull the audience into its aura.

The embroidered factor of the film is its music by Harris Jayaraj with alluring lyrics penned by Vanamali, Ramajogayya Sastry, Surrender Krishna and Kedarnath Parimi. This album is the most-preferred and forever favourite album of the Telugu audience because of its fresh and crisp vibe.

Apart from the main leads, it also stars wonderful actors like Brahmanandam, Prabhu, Prakash Raj, Srinivas Avasarala and Shazahn Padamsee who also added their flavours to Orange. Speaking of Brahmanandam Garu, his presence is worth stomach full of laughs.

In the climax, we see that Ram realizes that he loves himself more than his partner and also puts his priorities in the first place which is the reason for every feud. He acknowledges that love needs sacrifices and adjustments which are an integral part of the relationship and proposes to Jaanu for a lifelong commitment.
