Dreams and how aspirations can be something people often disregard in order to fit in and how people fight with the concept of procrastination. This movie was something similar to that.

Wake up, Sid acts like a wake-up call to the viewers to do what your heart desires, even if it means that you would have to move out of comfort, dreams are meant to be followed if one has any.

This movie unlike many others in Bollywood was something realistic and authentic, the conflict shown in the movie of not being able to decide what one wants to do with life and how people around affect one’s life choices. This movie was something which inspired the young audience watching the film to do what the heart wants and it might not be easy, but it will be something that makes you happy. This movie also broke the stereotype of being rich will make you happy because clearly money was never the answer to what Sid actually wanted. The character, later on, grew out of his selfish and spoilt brat attitude and matured into a young responsible man.

This movie unlike many was targeted towards the young adults with an unusual pairing of Konkona Sen Sharma and Ranbir Kapoor which left most of the people shook with their chemistry and their simple love story without any over the board storyline or dramatic characters and just letting the film become one of its kind and not just that this movie highlighted careers which are made out of hobbies like photography and writing which didn’t just make people happy but they earned enough to live a comfortable life. Friendship was also one of the highlighted concepts in this film and how friends try to be there for each other, always. This film in spite of its not so regular Bollywood dramatic feel did well at the box office and even with critics. The soundtrack and the background music was something which was too overly loud or something like that, it was something calm just like the film and helped the viewers appreciate the little moments which mattered the most.

This film is something warm, comfortable and relatable. On the whole, this film made the viewers smile and inspired so many young adults watching it to do what’s right and follow their dreams without hesitance.
