The Tollywood audience address Daggubati Venkatesh as Venky, out of love. The Telugu audience does not treat him as an actor, they treat him as a family member. He not only entertained the viewers but also did an exceptional job of stealing their hearts. With his unique script selections, mesmerizing acting and incredible comedy timing, he sure left his mark in Tollywood. His films have a thin storyline but carry excellent emotions with unforgettable comedy. One such film is Nuvvu Naaku Nachav.

Even after nineteen years of its release people love to watch Nuvvu Naaku Nachav whenever it is being telecasted. Some of them also know the dialogues by heart and some of them sing the complete songs. But what makes this film special is what this article is about. A beautiful story, excellent cast and crew, extraordinary songs and a melange of emotions made Nuvvu Naaku Nachav lovable and unforgettable.

Venky is a graduate and visits Hyderabad for his father’s friend’s daughters’ marriage. He starts as an irresponsible carefree guy. He along with Banthi gives us a good amount of scenes to laugh our heads off. How he adjusts in Hyderabad, his relationship with the bride’s family makes the first half. How he evolves from being a careless guy to a matured person and how he fell in love with the bride and the consequences following that makes the second half.

Nuvvu Naaku Nachav is a blend of what Telugu audiences always want. This film has every element added just right to make the audience love a little more. The storyline of the film is quite familiar throughout ages. For the familiar story, comedy is a plus point. Venkatesh-Sunil duo, Venkatesh-Bhramanandam, M.S. Narayana-Hema duo worked so well that people watching will end up with gales of laughter. Be it the dining table prayers, Chandra Mohan’s letter, Water world scenes, Venkatesh’s perfect comedy timing, Bhramanandam’s hilarious expressions or Sunil’s performance everything worked exceptionally well.

Besides the comedy, the emotions displayed by the actors were very finely tuned. The sentiments were not too heavy but were blended brilliantly to the comedy. The right amount of tuning of emotions with the humour added to be a plus point which worked out very well for the film. The concern expressed by Chandra Mohan as a worried father, the responsibility taken by Prakash Raj for his friend’s son, the support given by Suhasini for her niece, the push Venky gave Pinky to be bold, everything delivers a strong message to the audience. The friendship between Chandra Mohan and Prakash Raj makes the audience want something they have. They support each other and can go to such an extent to sacrifice anything for their friend’s well being. Who doesn’t crave for a friendship like that?

A special mention needs to be given for music director Koti. Every song is a gem, every tune is a treasure. The lyrics penned by Sirivennela Sitaramasastri made the already beautiful melodies more refreshing to listen. The scenes between the actors were so natural and casual. Additionally, scenes from this film are used by the meme creators. And the audience connects to these memes instantly. The original and neat dialogues with a right crisp of subtlety for the script made Nuvvu Naaku Nachav a timeless and ageless dramedy.
