Dear Amy Santiago,
There are times, when you look at one character and just be like, “hey that’s brilliant”, you were that for me.
I remember watching the very first episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine and be like I really want to be like Amy Santiago.
Why?
Trust me, the reasons I give will never be enough. But if I have to give them, all I’ll tell is that you inspired me.
You were shown as a competitive officer who would stop at nothing to be best at her work and that itself is such amazing quality.
Your skill of organizing everything and keeping everything set in an orderly fashion is worth so much appreciated
Something I absolutely admire in you is how you are a fighter, you fight for what’s right and always be there for people you love and believe in them.
Your confidence and at the same time your tongue in cheek moments are something I’ll always relate to and especially trying to be the Teacher’s pet, that is something I do till date.
I will always look up to how strong you are like a woman who overcame the bias and showed the world that women can do it and they are not weak. And especially after knowing what you went through and stood up for other women like you, you became one of my favourite characters ever.
Thank you for showing us all that, thank you for inspiring us, Amy. You will always be our favourite binder lover.
