Trivikram’s Writing: The best part of “Athadu” is that the conflict builds parallelly with Nandu’s transformation into Pardhu. Trivikram used multiple genres like rom-com, action thriller and family drama that made the screenplay gripping.
Need and Goal of Nandu: While Nandu’s goal in the movie is to escape from the police for the crime he didn’t commit and to find the killer, his need is to bond with Pardhu’s family and behave like him, which runs subconsciously.
Character Arcs: Along with the protagonist, supporting characters in the movie have individual character arcs:

Nandu(Protagonist): From being a hardcore criminal to transforming into a complete
family man.

Anjaneya Prasad(C.B.I Officer): From being a loyal officer to saving an innocent
criminal.

Bachi Reddy(Politician): From being a cunning politician to a self-destructing loser.

Satyanarayana Murthy(Grandfather): From being in grief state to accepting Nandu as his grandson.

Comedy: Along with the story, the humour generated through simple dialogues and subtle actions made Athadu age like a wine fine(Knowledge is Divine) even after 15 years of its release.
Music: Just like the screenplay and comedy, Mani Sharma’s songs and background score never get’s old. The mesmerizing music makes us hum every time we watch the film.
