SP Balasubramaniam in critical condition.
The veteran singer and actor, S P Balasubramaniam was tested positive for coronavirus and was admitted in MGM Healthcare in Chennai on Aug 5. He was doing stable after some treatment and his son Charan has taken time and revealed the news, saying that he is out of danger. Today, MGM Healthcare, has released a bulletin, saying SPB is in critical condition since last 24 hours and is on life support. Hope he gets well soon.
Ram Charan and Chiranjeevi to work together in Acharya.
Megastar Chiranjeevi’s next, Acharya to start it’s shoot in October. Before the shoot begins, Chiranjeevi, wanted Director Koratala Siva to test the cast and crew for coronavirus and have a trial shoot first. Also, in a recent interview, Chiranjeevi mentioned about Ram Charan’s role in this movie. He said “My wife Surekha always wanted to see me and Charan in a film together. I felt that Acharya is the right film. Ram Charan is very much in the project. I spoke to SS Rajamouli and explained him about the opportunity. We did not want to miss this and we adjusted the dates of Charan for Acharya. We never know when we will get an opportunity to work together”.
An update on leading lady in Major
We all are aware about Adivi Sesh’s upcoming movie Major, which is based on Major Unnikrishnan who saved many lives in 26/11 attacks. The movie’s shooting has resumed almost a month ago and the scenes with Sesh are being shot. There is an update now, saying Saiee Manjrekar will be leading in this movie and will be playing a crucial role. She has earlier appeared in Dabangg 3 and now debuting in Tollywood with thsi movie.
Sai Dharam Tej – Deva Katta shoot to begin soon
Today, Prasthanam fame, director Deva Katta took to his Twitter by posting a picture with few crew members saying the shoot with Sai Tej will begin soon. He stated that the pre-production work is on full swing and shoot will begin in October. Meanwhile, Mega Hero’s other movie, Solo Brathukey So Better to be released on OTT platform.
Buzz on Vijay Devarakonda’s Bollywood debut
Sanjay Leela Bansali and Bhushan Kumar announced to produce a movie on Balakot airstrikes in 2019. Though there was no other update all this time, seems like writer and director Abhishek Kapoor to star Vijay Devarakonda in this film. The movie is about achievements of the Indian Air Force (IAF) and the airstrike in Balakot where the country’s fighter jets launched smart bombs that targeted Jaish-e-Mohammad’s largest terror facility in Pakistan. Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman was taken prisoner by the Pakistani forces during this operation and later released. Buzz is that Vijay Devarajondam is being considered for Abhinandan’s role and the talks are ongoing.
VV Vinayak and Chiranjeevi to come together for Lucifer remake.
Earlier, there were talks that Sujeeth is working on the script for the Lucifer remake. Chiranjeevi revealed now, that Sujeeth wanted to step out of this project due to personal reasons and VV Vinayak worked on script after that. He confirmed now that he will be shooting this Mohanlal and Manju Warrier starred movie under Konidela Production Company.
Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow postponed to May 2021
Marvel fans will have to wait a bit longer for upcoming superhero movies ‘Black Widow’ and ‘Eternals’. Disney Studios has updated its release calendar to factor in the continued uncertainty over the reopening of theatres amid the coronavirus pandemic.Scarlett Johansson-led ‘Black Widow’, which was delayed from its original May 1 release date, has now moved to May 7, 2021.
Consequently, the ‘Black Widow’ shift has lead to the studio moving Chloe Zhao’s ‘Eternals’ from February 12, 2021 to November 5, 2021, and ‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’ from May 7, 2021 to July 9, 2021.
Varun Tej all set to start his shoot.
Varun Tej has not been working on any shoot, in last 6 months. He recently started working on his new ripped look for an untitled sports drama. The movie’s shoot is set in Vizag and the actor, to start his work in November first week. It is so that Upendra will be playing a crucial role.
